Olly Harmer

Olly has been at the helm of The Lab since 2003, engineering, mixing and producing an impressive catalogue of award winning New Zealand bands and artists. Rock, folk, country, electronica, hip hop, pop, jazz, classical, even dub, Olly’s worked with them all. On top of that, he maintains the Neve, keeps all the studio gear going, and collects interesting and vintage instruments, amps, recording equipment and eccentric lamps. Most recently, he has earned 2 VFNZMA nominations as Best Engineer for his work with The Naked And Famous and Andrew Keoghan.

Jol Mulholland

Jolyon has been working out of The Lab for over 5 years, and in that time he has built up a reputation as a gifted and creative producer, as well as a fine engineer. He is also a remarkably useful session musician, capable of playing a wide range of instruments, and has an innate ability to understand almost any vintage analogue synth. Currently, Jol is on sabbatical, and we miss him!
